This game descends from the ancient Nordic game called Halatafl, derived itself from Hnefatafl, and was mentioned in the Libro de los juegos as De Cercar the Liebre. Hourglass of 1 minute duration. Made with juniper for bases and with mahogany and conifer for the three supporting columns (marquetry). Polishing with shellac. The glass part of the hourglass is hand-blown by the craftsman Josean Garcia Diaz.
